This is a 35 feet tube polishing unit. It utilizes 4 polishing heads to obtain the required surface finish. The tube would be positioned in the long trough which contained two sets of powered rollers. The tube would then be turned in a clockwise rotation. The polishing belts would then be indexed down on the tube using a counter clockwise rotation. Each head would be powered the length of the tube. The control system for the machine was an Allen Bradley SLC504 processor. This machine was purchased by a light pole manufacturer.
